Take Your Horse from Flab to Fab!

Evidence shows that the benefits of regular physical activity are clearly a benefit to your horse's health. However, if your horse hasn't been active in over five weeks, chances are they can't just leap right back into working again. If they do, you're risking injury to both your horse and yourself.

Instead, try our eight-week conditioning program, developed specifically to safely get your horse back into shape.

Movement is Medicine

Your equine athlete deserves the best care if you expect them to perform at their best. Just like their human counterparts, horses need gradual return-to-activity programs after a long lay-off period (e.g. winter). This program was specifically developed for horses coming back from a five-week or greater period of low activity. It gives you as the rider confidence to condition your horse safely and effectively.

If your horse is not returning from a soft-tissue injury, and just needs a general conditioning program, please check-out our Eight to Great Conditioning Program instead.

A Bit About Becky

Becky grew up on a horse, with her early days competing in all 4-H events, as well as starting her own colts. As she finished her Masters degree in Physical Therapy and her college years drew to a close, she found herself in the ranch country of the Sandhills of Nebraska. It is here where she started barrel racing and met her husband Chris who is a PRCA steer roper. Becky is a WPRA card holder and competes in barrel racing at both the professional and local levels. Their two daughters, Emma and Gracie, also compete at the high school and junior high levels of rodeo, in barrel racing, pole bending, cutting, and goat tying.
